THIS IS FOR THE BELIEVERS.

According to the New International version of the Bible (NIV), John 2:13-16 says, ''When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So, he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle;he scattered the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, ''Get these out of here! How dare you turn my father's house into a market!''

Everytime, I pass by the Action Chapel this comes to mind. I seriously don't get how the church seems like, infact, is a business centre. There is a bank in the premises, car wash, graphic design studio of some sort, restaurant, basketball court and gym.Correct me if there is more.

In my opinion, I do not see anything wrong with the last three. I'll explain. Religion is such that, it encourages you to have a healthy body and mind, especially mind. I wonder if people pay for these services. It's in church premises so it should be for free right? I doubt if it is. Money is everything.

Why should the other things be there? How do the church officials read and understand the Bible. Did they just ignore that part? Let me be fair. Everyone ignores a lot of things the Bible says. Everyone! It is still not an excuse to have these things though. You are spreading the Word, you should know better. Is the space that is given to these businesses for free or do they pay rent to the church?

Do the members of the church ask the same questions I am asking? Or do they just keep silent because it is a church. I have a lot of unanswered questions about this church but all that will be for a later post.Am I the only one that sees something wrong with this or are there others?

That church is very fishy meehn.

I remember a couple of years ago, my friend Jennifer and I were invited there. We went and it was prayer time and this pastor was like,''Everyone close your eyes and pray. Pray in tongues.'' People where seriously mumbling some things. I was so surprised and kept looking at the congregation. The pastor saw me looking and said,'' You over there, pray, pray, pray in tongues.''
I wasn't amused at all. The last time I checked people didn't just pray like that. They were moved or touched by the Spirit or whatever they call it. No one is even supposed to understand it except someone who God has given the understanding. Apparently there are even some churches that claim they teach tongues. What the hell? I hear Action is one of them, I don't know how true that is but if it is true shame on them.

So back to my point. That church is very fishy. And do the members ask these questions?
