Thinking about the KNUST 'sex scandal'. Do you think it's such a big deal that it should make national news?
The journalists are so silly, I think, and the paper lame to make this their front cover issue. A committee has even been set up for this nonsense. Everyone has sex. So why do Ghanaians act like it's wrong?
The sad part of all this is that the two people involved weren't even aware that what they were doing was being recorded. Apparently, the boy's roomie set his laptop up to record it (very childish) and then when the star of the sex tape found out he asked him to delete. It was duly deleted and the laptop was formated and sold. The new owner then recovered the laptop, saw the video and spread it around (was that necessary? What if it was him?).
Now, the 'porn stars' can't live normal lives anymore. Why should they be dismissed from school? Which one of the school staff didn't have sex in university. And should matters like student accomodation, basic facilities, practical and technical experience and book availability come second to this nonsense?
