IMPERSONATION PARTY.

Today I was constantly watching my time, so I didn’t miss a tv programme on via sat 1, at 8pm. ‘Laugh A Minute’ the name, and hosted by David Oscar, our own Gh comedian. And oh my word, I was stunned. because the show was not hilarious but fucking ridiculous and embarrassing. I mean I, did not even laugh a second how much more a minute?. My jaw was dropped for about ten minutes into the show, wondering what the fuck this. was. He was creatively airing downloaded funny clips from the internet and doing his own lame commentary on them so viewers could 'laugh'.

Look, most people probably have loads of them on their computers. I mean those are stuff from another man’s country and that’s supposed to make you a number one comedian in your country? He must be a joke.

Is this why he was bewailing the fact that Charter House was giving Nigerians platforms to exhibit their comic art and not people like him? If I was a business man, I will go for a Nigerian 'cause they are very authentic and they make u see more of their country through their comedy and that’s the shit I will pay for.

Seriously what the fuck is going on? You listen to radio, and you hear constant information about the Western world, top ten chart of Western music plus hype. People trying to put up the exact copy of programmes they’ve probably seen on dstv or somewhere, whilst people there don’t give shit about what goes on down here. Why cant we just do things in our own way and style as Ghanaians? Who says there’s no news about our celebs, people or stuff happening in town? There are, just that most of our radio presenters think they are celebrities so they won't go out there look for stuff, instead the stuff should come to them.

And what's this thing about Ghanaians trying so hard to have an American or British accent? You can have an accent, whose says you cant? It should be original. It makes the whole thing lame when you fake it. Is it not ridiculous how Ghanaians travel and their accent change but when they come back home it doesn’t change back? Is that not straight up faking? Our movies even have actors lashing out the Nigerian accent. 'Stars' want to talk money like Hollywood when the whole country is basically Accra, a dot on Gh map.

Girls/boys trying so hard to be what they see on videos and movies. Ei! E go b this? Is it not time to sell the country? So we know we belong somewhere. So you see what I mean by impersonation party? All you need to do is try so hard not to be your self but someone else then you will be part of the party.

Fucked up! Having insight about the Western world or other countries isn’t wrong but making it part of us in everything we do forgetting what we have,  tells you how dumb and shallow minded the country has become.

Robot sheep exactly, we cant decide for ourselves. Gh wake up
