I have not posted much this month because I have not been inspired to do anything. Everyday is the same. Nothing new and interesting has happened in my life. OK, that's not completely true, I turned 22 exactly a week ago.
Last weekend, two music videos caught my attention. 'More You' by a budding Nigerian artiste Bez. Read more about him at www.myspace.com/bezidakula. The video was directed by Femi Adetiba (yes, a woman). When will Ghanaian women ever do this? How many female directors do we have anyway? I know about Shirley. On to the next one please! *Rolling my eyes*.
The second one is my girl Janelle Monae's Cold War. I never really paid much attention to the song until I saw the video. That is when I noticed how true what she was saying was or should I say is. If you haven't paid attention to the lyrics please do so you can appreciate her.
