For awhile now, I stopped bothering myself with Ghanaian news. I just lost hope in reading newspapers and listening to the broadcaster and their inability to make listening to the news worthwhile. In fact let me try and be fair to them, sometimes the 'news is not even news. Too much rubbish. Like a couple of weeks ago, I read, Rawlings and Kuffour's children to tie the knot or some nonsense like that. What made it appalling was that it was the front page news. Can you imagining? Who the hell cares?
Yea so the point of this post is that on the 21st of June 2010, 26 people died because of the plenty rain that it rained on the 20th of June 2010 and others lost property. Today most of my 'friends' on facebook had statuses with 'Rest In Peace 11 children who died in the floods' and what not. So It caught my attention.
Thank God for google. ( The news on ghanaweb was not that appealing).
Sympathy to the bereaved.
